ANSAC operates as the international sales, marketing and distribution arm for the four leading producers of natural soda ash in the United States. Together, these companies export approximately 4 million metric tons of natural soda ash annually, making ANSAC the largest exporter of natural soda ash in the world.
Trona mining and processing is an economic mainstay of the communities of southwest Wyoming. Collectively, ANSAC's member companies operate five plants along the Green River Basin. The mines and processing plants operate 24 hours per day, year-round, and employ a significant number of the people working the area, contributing over $300 million annually to the local economy.

FMC Industrial Chemicals (FMC) is a low-cost producer of inorganic chemicals with number one market positions in North American soda ash, hydrogen peroxide and persulfates. It also produces a range of other alkali products including various grades of sodium bicarbonate, sodium sesquicarbonate and caustic soda.

General Chemical (Soda Ash) Partners' Green River operation is one of the largest soda ash facilities in North America. It is jointly owned by General Chemical Industrial Products Inc. (GCIP) (75%) and O-I (25%). O-I (www.o-i.com) and is one of the world's largest consumers of soda ash, as well as a leader in glass container manufacture. The Green River facility is operated by GCIP, headquartered in East Hanover, NJ.
Since 1884, GCIP and its predecessors have been leading suppliers of soda ash to a broad range of manufacturing industries. The breadth of this experience together with ever increasing production efficiency in mining and processing has ensured a current position as one of the top five global producers of high-quality soda ash.

Since 1962, OCI Chemical Corporation's Wyoming operation has been among the world's leading producers of high quality soda ash. While the name has changed over the years, the quality of the soda ash, people and services continues to set the pace in the industry, as it has since the facility was initially established by Stauffer Chemical.
OCI is currently the world's third largest producer of natural soda ash, with more than 400 employees. An 800,000 ton plant expansion increased production capacity at its manufacturing facility by approximately 30%.
Headquartered in Marietta, Georgia (USA), OCI Chemical Corporation is a wholly owned North American subsidiary of DC Chemicals Ltd. of South Korea.
