To ANSAC Mexico Customers,
As you know, Hurricane Harvey hit the coast of Texas over this past weekend, causing massive flooding and devastation. After a short pause, the storm regained strength and hit the coast of Texas and Louisiana last night, now as a tropical storm. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those in the impacted area, in particular those that have lost loved ones and homes, and remain in perilous and unsafe situations.
We have spoken with the Union Pacific Railroad and they have provided the following information:
“The Laredo gateway remains open to interchange traffic with the Mexican railroads.”
For our customers in Mexico, the railroads continue to operate the border interchange at Laredo. Should the situation change we will keep you duly informed.
